Welcome to the Schroeder’s. Located 20 miles north of Lafayette, IN and home to quality Reiners and Halter Horses. Our breeding program has evolved over the years but has stayed true to our founding principle - “Breed to the proven bloodlines and to a horse that will add quality and enhance your mare.”

On the Halter side of the business we have broodmares with ROMs and Superiors that are excellent producers. Bloodlines include Skipper W, Coolest, Sierra Te, Howdy Dreamy Dude and Western Impressive to name a few.

On the Reining and Working Cowhorse side of the business we have mares from Vibrant Peppy and Nu Chex to Cash.

We started small and have built our herd to include mares that we have personally shown to ROMs and Superiors.
